Melissa, our winner of the $3,000 Gift Of Flight Scholarship by PilotTricks, finally took to the skies. After a long winter season, her focus is on getting to solo.

Melissa is flying with Lawrence County Aviation, out of Grissom Field in Bedford, IN – KBFR. Her instructor says she’s doing well and is very close to soloing. Just a bit more practice and more work on slips and she’ll be ready to spread her wings on her own.
